Willow Creek Academy is a charter school located on the upper campus of Bayside Elementary School. It is divided into three divisions: Primary (grades K-2), Intermediate (grades 3-5), and Upper (grades 6-8). Willow Creek is a Title I School, but does not implement a school-wide program. The school is in the process of becoming a certified ‘green' school.

Tamalpais High, a California Distinguished School, offers a comprehensive curriculum including Honors and Advanced Placement classes, foreign languages, technical arts, and an on-site ROP (Regional Occupational Program). Alumni include actress Eve Arden, mountain bike inventor Joe Breeze, guitarist John Cipollina, stateman/comic Pat Paulsen. The Sock Hop scenes in the film ‘American Graffitti' , (1973), were filmed in the boys gym.
