Belvedere-Tiburon Schools

Belvedere and Tiburon is an exclusive neighborhood which has stunning homes, amazing views and is approximately 4 miles north of San Francisco. There are two public school districts, one for elementary and middle school and one for the high schools.

Fairfax Schools

Fairfax is an eclectic and environmentally conscious town is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Community commitment to ecology includes two ‘green' public schools and one ‘green' private school.

Greenbrae Schools

Greenbrae is centrally located in Marin County and a short commute to San Francisco, this small, unincorporated community maintains a highly regarded public school system.

Inverness Schools

Inverness is mainly a residential community in West Marin. Tourism has been the main industry for the area since its beginnings and supports a number of hotels, inns, restaurants and gift shops. It is still a popular getaway with plenty of outdoor activities for the whole family.

Kentfield Schools

Kentfield is a small community provides active support for the public schools, including the Kentfield Schools Foundation, a nonprofit public organization committed to support of Bacich Elementary and Kent Middle school. College of Marin also maintains a campus in Kentfield.

Larkspur Schools

Larkspur is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Larkspur has Queen Anne Victorians, store-front facades and a 1930's art deco theater that brings to mind the towns past. Along with the dozens of historical buildings, Larkspur also maintains a ferry terminal for easy access to San Francisco. The town is also the home of the world-famous Lark Creek Inn Restaurant.

Mill Valley Schools

Mill Valley is located just below Mt. Tamalpais, Mill Valley is surrounded by national parks, including Muir Woods, as well as hills and canyons were locals and visitors alike enjoy hiking, biking and running. Mill Valley was named one the top 10 cities to like in by Money Magazine. The town also hosts many cultural events including the internationally recognized Mill Valley Film Festival and the Mountain Play.

A variety of educational choices are available in both public and private sectors.

Nicasio Schools

Nicasio is surrounded by oaks and fields, Nicasio is a quiet little unincorporated town that gives the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere. It is, however, only 30 miles north of San Francisco and a few miles west of Novato. The area is primarily used for agricultural purposes such as organic farming and dairy and cattle grazing lands. It is also close to the Point Reyes National Seashore, the Golden Gate National Recreation Area and the Samuel P. Taylor State Park.

Novato Schools

Novato is located approximately twenty-nine miles north of San Francisco, Novato is the northernmost city in Marin County. In addition to the large public school system, Novato has a number of private schools. The College of Marin also has a campus in Novato.

Ross Schools

The quiet community of Ross in Marin County offers beautiful properties and an excellent variety of both public and private schools.

San Anselmo Schools

San Anselmo is a charming town has a sunny climate, and strong sense of community in addition to fine public and private schools. San Anselmo is also home to the San Francisco Theological Seminary.

San Geronimo Valley Schools

The San Geronimo Valley is an eclectic community that includes the San Geronimo, Forest Knolls, and Lagunitas. The valley has outdoor activities for everyone, golf, horseback riding, meditation, cycling, and hiking in the redwoods. It also maintains some interesting public schools in that they are not traditional classrooms.

San Rafael Schools

Marin County's oldest city is San Rafael. Located 12 miles north of San Francisco, the multicultural community offers a variety of educational styles from which to choose with fifteen public schools and more than ten private schools. San Rafael is also home to Dominican University of California.

Sausalito Schools

Most visitors know the charming waterfront community of Sausaltio which sits across the SF bay as a tourist town filled with bustling shops, restaurants, galleries & cafes. After the sundown and the tourists have departed, residents can enjoy a peaceful dinner in the evening or a visit a café in the morning with the cyclists and walkers all enjoying the sunrise.

Stinson Beach & Bolinas Schools

Stinson Beach & Bolinas were Originally used as dairy land, these rural seaside towns are set in beautiful countryside next to the mountain range. The limited access to the area also creates a close community. Surfing, hiking and biking are popular activities.

Tiburon Schools

Tiburon is located just across the bay on the end of the Tiburon peninsula, the town of Tiburon is an affluent community with lots of charm and amenities as well as award winning schools.
